Asahi Somboon Aluminium Co., Ltd. was established as a subsidiary of ASAHI TEC CORPORATION for
production and sales operations in Thailand in 1989.
We changed the company name to Asahi Tec Aluminium (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in 2005.
The operation of aluminum high-pressure diecasting was split from Asahi Tec Aluminium (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and was newly incorporated as wholly owned subsidiary of ACJ with the name of ATA Casting Technology Co., Ltd. in 2016.
ACT has been expanded aluminum high-pressure diecasting business in Thailand for over 30 years.
Right now, ACT has been recognized as one of the leading aluminum high-pressure diecasting manufacturers in Thailand.
By focusing on diecast products for automobile, we always respond various customers’ needs.
ACT is the main factory with fully integrated aluminum diecasting operations from melting/casting to machining/assembly.
Our main products are aluminum parts for automotive engine, steering and drivetrain.
Besides ADC12 which is used mainly as our raw material, since our factory equipped with individual melting furnaces we can supply parts produced by different raw materials as well.
DMCT is the company newly incorporated in January 2018 and it’s brand-new factory was completed in September 2019,
focusing on aluminum parts for the EV/HEV/PHEV (PCU case, Motor housing, etc.) which have gained popularity recently.
Thus, DMCT is in charge of production for next generation parts as a latest aluminum high-pressure diecasting factory in the group.
For manufacturing efficiency, centralized melting furnace for fuel economy, diecasting machines with narrow ranges by size 800ton to 1250ton and final inspection room with temperature and pressure control to minimize contaminations which strictly required for automotive products are equipped.
